From my very first Feldenkrais workshop for the eyes it was clear that they do benefit from regular attention and specifically designed Awareness Through Movement “Self-Maintenance for Your Eyes”
Feldenkrais is a process of self-development that uses focussed, intelligent, primal movement sequences to reawaken those parts of our selves that have become disconnected, armoured, and blocked from our self-awareness.
These Awareness Through Movement sequences are designed to improve our ability to integrate all the separate parts of our selves into a fully active, fully engaged, vibrant and ever-evolving living being.
My Embodied Voice course is intended to give anyone who wants them the tools and the sensory-motor awareness necessary to speed up the development of their unique instrument, and their ability to play it with skill – I always do my best to instil the curiosity and confidence necessary to explore the human voice to its full potential.

When you attend an Awareness Through Movement class you lie on the floor and follow instructions for very precise actions from your teacher, but she “What is a “fully conscious voice”?”
By way of an example, have a look at this piece. It is a good article, it is mostly accurate, but it is also completely “Sitting Well–Or Everything You Know About Posture Is Wrong!”
I came across this quotation a few years ago now, but it is still very timely: “There is one thing that, when cultivated and regularly “BodyMindfulness – A peaceful, easy feeling…”
“In poor posture the muscles are doing a part of the job of the bones.” Moshe Feldenkrais: Awareness Through Movement, 1980 Correct “Posture” versus Dynamic “Dynamic Stability & Hypermobility Syndrome”
“Every great and deep difficulty bears in itself its own solution. It forces us to change our thinking in order to find it.” Niels Bohr (Physicist)* “Sciatica, Fibromyalgia, and the Purpose of Pain”
Grace is one of the benefits that I offer to entice potential students to come and try out my classes, but I suspect for many “Grace – Awareness Through Movement In Action”
